MLS strives to create and implement the highest quality software available. This site will focus on our freeware and GPL software for the most part.
The majority of the software is available for both the Windows and Linux operating systems. Se the individual descriptions for more information. Product Focus Linux DiskTool version 1.1.3-1 is now available.
This freeware disk/file management software can handle all of your most needed tasks. Tasks such as copying, moving, renaming, linking, and deleteing files and directories.
Also includes an archive center for .tar, .gz, .tar.gz, and .zip file creation, inspection, and extraction.
For RedHat users, and other distributions such as Mandrake that support RPM files, DT also includes and integrated RPM manager. The RPM center allows you to check dependancies, view contents, view descriptions, view directories, and install or upgrade the package.
New features include :
New auto-complete routine for file and pathnames with navigation through all matches found.
Executable files and scripts are now highlighted along with links, marked files, and directories. Configurable in the setup screen.
Now allows you to hide or display hidden files. Default is to display all files and directories, but the new toggle allows you to disable the hidden files display.
Alt+L command added. Takes you to the last directory (actually the parent directory) without having to press home and enter.
Lots of code clean-up resulting in about 60k smaller binary file size.
Of course the man page and dt.doc files are updated as well to reflect the new changes.
